Technical features

Materials

Smooth tubular electric heating elements are built using Ni Cr 80/20 resistive wire, positioned at the center of a metal tube and insulated with high-quality magnesium oxide (MgO), compacted by the cold rolling process.

The electric heating elements are available with standard diameters (6.5 mm – 8.5 mm -10 mm – 15 mm) and are made with the following materials:

  • Copper
  • Aisi 321- Aisi 316L – Aisi 309 Stainless steel
  • Incoloy 800
  • Titanium

Reart customises geometry, sizing and heating power upon client request or specification.

Accessories

All smooth heating elements can be equipped with different accessories such as:

  • threaded electrical terminals
  • electrical connections with Faston terminals
  • sealed cables for the electrical connection of the heating element
  • threaded bushings for securing the electric heating element
  • Custom-designed flanges for process mounting

Customised designs and executions are available upon client request.
