Single thread heaters are designed for environments and industries where corrosion resistance and reliability are required, including:

REART’s single thread heaters are designed using advanced materials and technologies to ensure high performance and durability.

Materials

Armoured AISI 316L stainless steel, titanium or Pyrex tubes, carefully selected for their excellent resistance to corrosion in aggressive environments.

Heating coils made of NiCr 80/20 wire, capable of withstanding high temperatures while ensuring optimum heat transfer to the outer tube and subsequently to the fluid.

High quality grooved ceramic supports for superior thermal insulation and mechanical strength, ensuring durability and efficiency.

Installation and maintenance

Installation and replacement of the complete single thread heater must be carried out in a horizontal position, typically near the bottom of the tank.

Safety

It is recommended that electroplating heaters with a low surface heat exchange density (W/cm²) are used in conjunction with a temperature control system (thermostat) to monitor the operating temperature of the process fluid. This will help to extend the life of the heater.

The electrical connection enclosure is IP55 rated, ensuring protection against dust and water ingress.
