THE GROUP

Reco Group is an italian group specialized in the design and production of electric heating elements for domestic and industrial use, unipolar and bipolar thermostats, galvanic and immersion heaters and heat exchangers. Thanks to the experience gained in over fifty years of activity and to the continuous innovation of products and processes, the group has established itself as world leader in its sector. The high degree of specialization, continuous improvement and the high quality standards achieved, allows the company to satisfy any customer request with “tailor-made” projects and products, according to the different applications and needs.

In 1955 Mario Giaj founds in Turin a small mechanical company called Termas.

In 1972 the company moves to Frossasco, in the Pinerolo area. Termas becomes Firec and the business moves from the mechanical to the electromechanical sector, specializing in the production of heating elements.

Two distinct companies are born from Firec: Reart and Reco. While Reart continues and expands its core business, with the production of specific solutions for the industrial sector, Reco specializes in the production of components for storage water heaters.

Reco becomes one of the main partners of water heater manufacturers in the area and suppliers of spare parts, including thermostats.
